Accreditation is a voluntary process
in which an institution, organization or agency submits to an in-depth analysis to determine its capacity to provide quality continuing education over an extended period of time. Accreditation and regulatory compliance are core competencies of CME Outfitters (CMEO). In March 2006, CMEO earned "accreditation with commendation" for exemplary compliance from the ACCME, resulting in a full six-year approval term. This achievement is the second consecutive time that CMEO has earned this level of accreditation.
Through our approval/accreditation status, CME Outfitters offers credit to a variety of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and certified case managers. Through their guidance, our world-class clinical advisory board ensures that our content remains clinically relevant to today's multidisciplinary treatment team.
Managing Partners Jan Perez and Sharon Tordoff, and Medical Program Director Monique Johnson, and Director of Accreditation Beth Brillinger have achieved Certified CME Professional (CCMEP) certification.
