Statement of Need

Treatment goals for patients with psoriasis (PsO) remain consistent regardless of severity of disease. In a recent study, more than 75% of patients (n = 1,200) noted that they wanted to have confidence in therapy, regain control of their disease, not fear that their PsO would worsen, get better skin quickly, and be free from itching. Thankfully, there are agents that are in development that offer new mechanisms of action and monoclonal antibodies that offer improvements in skin clearance and quality of life.

This CME Outfitters Snack will focus on evaluating the efficacy and safety data for these emerging therapies, and on engaging patients in discussion about their treatment goals to improve treatment choices.

At the end of this CE activity, participants should be able to:

• Evaluate efficacy and safety data for emerging therapies for the treatment of moderate-to-severe psoriasis.
