Statement of Need

The Chair Summit is an engaging and intimate forum for clinicians to access the latest neuroscience education for future application to practice. The collaborative format of the Chair Summit serves as a springboard to the integration of new information and new insights into clinical practice with the goal of improving patient outcomes.

We understand that schedules don't always align and present the opportunity to be out of the office for even the best conference. That's why we are offering select plenary sessions via web stream. You will have the opportunity to view live and ask questions wherever is most convenient. There is no cost to view the sessions. A flat rate of $25 will be applied for the 15.75 hours of CME/CE credit associated with the sessions. Following is the schedule for the live streaming.

Activity Goal

To collaboratively evaluate evidence, engage in peer-to-peer learning, and apply evidence to routine clinical practice to develop individualized management strategies for improved outcomes for patients with psychiatric and neurologic disorders.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this CE activity, participants should be able to:

  • Integrate evidence-based best care into everyday clinical practice, including the latest measurement-based and outcomes-based clinical research and data on psychiatric and neurologic disorders.
  • Translate current and emerging scientific evidence into clinical practice and individualized care decisions for psychiatric and neurologic disorders.
  • Actively participate in open, unfiltered discussions with experts, interdisciplinary team members, and colleagues regarding the challenges in daily clinical practice so that new insights can be applied to improve patient care.
  • Identify evidence-based practices, peer interactions and discussions within the interdisciplinary care teams, and a robust clinician-patient communication dynamic that supports integration into an individualized personal action plan that will improve clinical performance and patient health outcomes.

The following learning objectives pertain only to those requesting CNE or CPE credit:

  • Identify validated questionnaires used to assess symptoms of psychiatric and neurologic disorders.
  • Describe best practices for diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric and neurologic disorders based on review of high-level evidence and discussions with clinical experts and colleagues.
  • Identify key patient education and counseling messages that should be shared with patients who have psychiatric and/or neurologic disorders in order to improve levels of health literacy and rates of treatment adherence.
