Dr. Ullman is the Chief Medical Officer for Mount Sinai Doctors Faculty Practice, Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Associate Professor of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, and stayed to complete his residency in internal medicine at the New York Hospital followed by a GI fellowship at Yale University. Dr. Ullman joined the faculty of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1999, and has pursued research questions pertaining to the relationship between IBD and colorectal cancer and has led national efforts to improve quality of care in IBD. He is a Fellow of the ACG, an AGA Fellow, and a member of the CCFA where he was formerly the Chair of its Professional Education Committee.
