Patient Safety Awareness Week
March 6-12, 2011
First started by the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF) in 2002, this week marks an annual awareness campaign for health care safety. Each year, healthcare organizations all over the globe take part in the event by prominently displaying the NPSF campaign logo and promotional materials within their organizations and deploying NPSF educational resources to hospital staff. This year, the NPSF is extending the availability of the
toolkits to healthcare organizations outside its hospital program. For more information, please visit www.npsf.org/hp/psaw
