Statement of Need
New and emerging diagnostic strategies for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) are continually being explored in research, and many show promising application for clinical practice. To facilitate diagnosis and therefore early treatment of the disease, health care providers need to know about and use effective, validated assessment tools for real-world practice settings...

Activity Goal
To educate clinicians on the merits of using validated assessment tools to (1) diagnose RA in its earliest stages and (2) measure disease activity; and on uses of DMARD treatment to achieve a defined set of targeted treatment goals that is supported by patient-tailored therapy.

Credit Information
This activity offers CE credit for:

  • Physicians (CME)
  • Nurses (CNE)
  • Pharmacists (ACPE)
