The Virtual Meets the Real, Part I: Virtual Environments and Games as Therapeutic Tools

Virtual environments such as those seen in games and virtual reality (VR) have been a topic of intense interest in the media and in education for the last several years. In this two-part series, the first article discusses virtual environments as therapeutic tools, while the second will discuss virtual environments and games in education.
