New Snacks From CME Outfitters' 5th Annual Chair Summit Go Live
CME Outfitters' multimedia CME Snacks from Chair Summit are now available online for clinicians seeking quick and easy neuroscience CME credit
POWELL, Ohio (January 24, 2013) – CME Outfitters (CMEO), a leading accredited provider in continuing medical education, is proud to announce the launch of eight new CME Snacks. The CME Snacks are online multimedia video vignettes created by CMEO staff and faculty. Videos were filmed at CMEO’s 5th Annual Chair Summit in Orlando, Florida in October 2012. During the two and a half day meeting, leading experts in psychiatry sat down with their peers to discuss critical topics in pain management, sleep disorders, and mental illness. The educational conversations were filmed and produced to create 30-minute online videos, each of which are available for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. All of the CME Snacks are housed online at http://www.cmeoutfitters.com.
The CME Snacks use cutting-edge technology and design to provide users with a unique online learning experience that is quick and effective. CME Snacks provide an innovative, and user friendly experience for clinicians to further their knowledge, all within 30 minutes, and in the comfort of their own home or office. Recorded video is combined with synchronized graphics to optimize the learning opportunity and allow CMEO to track baseline knowledge of the learners.
“We are very excited to have all of the CME Snacks from Chair Summit available to our membership, and to any clinician who wants to learn more about hot topics in neuroscience,” said Jan Perez, CCMEP, CMEO Managing Partner, “These CME Snacks are a continuation of the evidence-based education sessions at CMEO’s 2012 Chair Summit. The Chair Summit is a unique meeting that features the top leaders, teachers, and mentors in the field and CME Snacks present a great opportunity to pair these leaders to discuss the data and share their insights with a host of practicing physicians in the CMEO Community of Practice. ”
The CME Snack topics include chronic pain, sleep disorders, restless legs syndrome, Alzheimer’s disease, treatment resistant depression, and schizophrenia. To view the Snacks, click on the links below.
