Ms. Leffler was recently a member of the Executive Committee for the European Initiative for the Creation of the European Database for Rare Disorders in Paris, France; member of the Executive Committee for the National Council for Health Professional Education in Genetics; the MedBiquitous Standards Committee, and Executive Board Member of the American Brain Coalition. Named in February 2000 as one of the top 25 industry leaders in online health informatics, Ms. Leffler continues to channel her energy and experience into the field of educational effectiveness and improved patient outcomes.
Joy has enjoyed a rich and varied speaking career including presentations to the Drug Information Association in Washington D.C., the Medical Library Association regional conference in Hartford, CT, and three NORD Conferences in Texas, New Jersey, and Washington D.C. Sharon A. Tordoff, Managing Partner at CME Outfitters, stated: "We are excited to have Joy join our team.
