CME Outfitters Accepting Registration For Its Upcoming neuroscienceCME Ask the Expert Q&A Focusing on Technologies to Advance the Treatment of Alzheimer's Disease

Bethesda, Maryland (PRWEB) August 09, 2013

CME Outfitters (CMEO), a leading accredited provider in continuing medical education, recently opened registration for its upcoming neuroscienceCME Ask the Expert Q&A Technologies to Advance the Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease. This live webcast will kick off September 4, 2013 at 1:30pm ET. CMEO’s live webcast features an interactive question and answer session with faculty member Gary W. Small, MD. All participants will have the opportunity to ask their toughest clinical questions regarding Alzheimer’s disease by using the Q&A widget on the webinar screen, email, telephone, and Twitter.

The educational content will focus on Alzheimer’s disease, specifically focusing on the following learning objectives:

  • Implement the latest biomarker technologies, such as brain imaging and cerebrospinal fluid analysis, when appropriate, in the management of patients with Alzheimer’s disease.
  •     Incorporate the new Alzheimer’s disease diagnostic criteria, when appropriate, into clinical practice.
  • Enumerate three discussion points that can guide a discussion with patients and their families about the implications of Alzheimer’s disease.

Physicians and other healthcare professionals who work with older adults are encouraged to register.

The American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP) and CME Outfitters, LLC, conducted a satellite symposium entitled, Technologies to Advance the Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease at the AAGP Annual Meeting on March 15, 2013. This live, interactive symposium was captured on video and is available as a certified activity athttp://www.neuroscienceCME.com/CM789 and http://www.aagponline.org. Because the opportunity to engage and connect with faculty is critical to physician learning, this follow up live Q&A Webcast has been scheduled to allow clinicians to “Ask the Expert” about content presented during the AAGP symposium. To enhance the learner experience, registrants are encouraged to view the archive of the AAGP symposium prior to participating in the live Q&A. During the Webcast, clinicians will be able to ask questions, discuss clinical case successes and challenges; and gain insight and practice pearls from Gary W. Small, MD. Click on the links below that will take you to the symposium archive, and the registration page for the live Q&A.
