CME Outfitter's Director of Accreditation Approved By The Accreditation Council For Continuing Medical Education To Serve As An Accreditation Surveyor
Beth Brillinger, CCMEP, CME Outfitters' Director of Accreditation, has been approved to serve as a volunteer accreditation surveyor for the ACCME
POWELL, Ohio (November 6, 2012) – CME Outfitters (CMEO), a leading accredited provider in continuing medical education, is proud to announce that their Director of Accreditation, Beth Brillinger, CCMEP, has received approval from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), to volunteer as an Accreditation Surveyor for educational providers seeking accreditation or reaccreditation. As a surveyor, Ms. Brillinger will utilize her many years of experience in the CME profession to assist the ACCME in evaluating educational providers in the CME community, and aid in decisions toward improvements to the accreditation system.

The ACCME accreditation surveyor system comprises CME professionals from various provider organizations. There are approximately 100 CME professionals across the country who currently volunteer as ACCME surveyors. Surveyors are nominated by their peers and must fulfill specific qualifications prior to approval. The ACCME provides these individuals with intensive training and professional development, including face-to-face training, conference calls, and webinars.
